Viewing Chinese on your browser 如何在瀏覽器顯示中文

If you have problems reading Chinese on your browser, please continue to read on. Otherwise please skip this page.

• General Browsers Setting:
  
  

  We are using Unicode utf-8 format on this website. The most straightforward solution is set your browser's encoding to "Auto-Detect", if don't have this option, choose Unicode (utf-8) on your brower. And, please make sure your computer have at least one font Chinese characters installed.

• Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) Users:
  
  

  Another solution is to download Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (or later) for free and install it on your computer system.

  If you still cannot read Chinese properly, please follow the following steps:

  1. Click VIEW on Internet Explorer menu.
  2. In the drop-down list, click ENCODING. A list of languages will pop up.
  3. If you don't see Chinese Traditional (or Simplified, depending on which version you want), click more at the bottom of the list.
  4. Select the version of the Chinese language you want and you are done.
     We are suggest to choose Unicode utf-8 as your browser setting.
  5. If your IE fails to display Chinese characters properly during subsequent browsing, please repeat steps 1-4.
  
  
• Mozilla Firefox Users:
  
  

  Another popular browser is Firefox, you can download the newest Firefox browser and install it on your computer system.

  1. Click VIEW on Firefox menu.
  2. In the drop-down list, click CHARACTER ENCODING MENU. A list of languages will pop up.
  3. If you don't see Chinese Traditional (or Simplified, depending on which version you want), click more at the bottom of the list.
  4. Select the version of the Chinese language you want and you are done.
     We are suggest to choose Unicode utf-8 as your browser setting.
  5. If your Firefox fails to display Chinese characters properly during subsequent browsing, please repeat steps 1-4.
